Is there a way to block certain avatars on here? I hate reading a post and having an animated avatar doing its thing out the corner of my eye. Although it's something very minor, it's still an annoying distraction, and freezing or removing them would be preferable. 

Blocking that member so you dont see the post at all is the only way I know.

Thanks for the info. And I just wanted to point out that my question is in no way a criticism of people who use them -- just one of those annoying little things for me. 

 

I'll decide if I want to go to the extreme of blocking members as I run across them.
