AIS 6 Month /6Mbps/ Unlimited max speed package – Whats going on ?

Featured Replies

Ive been using the AIS 6Mbps / 6 Month duration option for the last 2 years and it never said any thing about being restricted to a GB amount that can be used , its always been unlimited and a constant 6Mbps .

I recently extended that same package for a further 6 months and the new extension was registered ok. I thought no more about it until I just signed into my online AIS control panel for the AIS SIM card that I use for the same package.

Now I see that it looks like the same unlimited 6 month duration has a limit of 25GB unlimited usage and after that amount has been used up the speed will drop down .

Any one have an idea whats going on ????

There's another thread on a this issue, it does seem that the "unlimited" packages now have a data cap.

Let's continue there to keep all the info together.
