The dems make it seem like they have made some slick political maneuver. The truth is Pelosi can't control her party and is trapped. As has been said and the dems know impeachment goes nowhere in the senate. Their only move is to try and drag on with investigations to keep this in the news cycle for another two years if they can.

 

People in the USA are tired of it and nobody on either side is swayed. Even in the New York Times there was 3 studies by neutral or even left leaning places like Yale showing Trump takes the EC.

 

By all means begin impeachment, the sooner the better. Also Mueller will need to come back and give thorough testimony should they do so. You can't just throw a grenade and think you can run and hide.
