I’m in Chiang rai for a 4 days soon and I’m interested in taking a bike out and around the surrounding areas. I want to ride a motorcycle myself and carry my partner or have a second rider come to show the way and take my partner. 

Anyone recommend a few places to stop. I’d be keen on a over night trip or a long day trip. Would be keen to get to the golden triangle and off the tourist track if possible somewhere. 

Also any info on places to hire a decent bike or know of someone interested in a ride that has a second bike.
