Hi guys,i land in bk from england on the evening of the 6th april.flown to c mai domestically for songkran twice before.i know alot of thais go to c mai for songkran,but is the 6th early enough to just get a ticket to c mai when i land in bangkok airport,or should i pre book a ticket online.or should it be early enough to just buy in airport.

usually the week before Songkhran there are rather few people travelling.

u should be able to get a ticket at the airport, but tha later u book, the more expensive it will be..... so, better check the budget airlines fares from time to time..... if they increase a lot and too quickly, then the available seats get less and less....

right now, no problem at all.....

from 6th to 10th of April, there are 899++ Baht fares available at Airasia every day for almost every flight. this means, still plenty of seats to be had..... prices start to increase from 11th of April.....

Book Now! Off with all this rubish as to speculation of market prices etc...Get a flight!
