All over by tomorrow then. There's so much planning required for the next useless crackdown. 1 2
jaiyen Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 So why is it the police job to remove all the crap ? Should be council workmen.
30la Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Many sidewalks in Thailand are very well built ... only then every 10 meters you will find a street lamp in the middle of the pavement that forces you to go down to the road and then go up again after the street lamp. WHO SHOULD PAY THE FINE??? 1

MikeN Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 I note the tactile guide path for the blind ...complete with the shop steps intruding onto the path for them to trip over. No doubt the shop owners thought the yellow pavers were just to make it look pretty.......

Humpy Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Take a look at the sidewalks in Pattaya. Pedestrians use the roads because the footpaths are taken up by vendors, beer bars, cafes and parked motorcycles. Check out the corner at Second road into Soi Diana !!! 2
johng Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Not just the "vendors" but as stated earlier...phone booths, bus stops, light posts, electricity pylons, trees, drain covers...anything that could possibly block the footpath is on the footpath...! 1

There are no "blind dogs" in Thailand because they would not be able to lead the blind because they could not see where they should be going. Or are you referring to Guide Dogs which are also known as Seeing Eye Dogs, and come under the category of Service Dogs? 2
