YES there is an online pharmacy that I've been ordering from for the past 3 years (to Thailand). It is a reputable UK pharmacy and they sell Modifinil, made by Sun Pharmaceuticals. I believe it's a lot cheaper than many other sites I've seen as well. Fast delivery too! (URL deleted by moderator per forum rules, PM poster if desired)

I've never had customs or anyone for that matter open it up or take it. When I lived in the states, however, that did happen one time. Good luck. I know how you feel! I'll be ordering more soon too.

Hi Holly, I am in Phetburi (2 hours south of BKK) teaching English but I have Narcolepsy. I cant find Provigil anywhere even though I have a Thai pharmacist looking out for me. This thread you posted is pretty old, I just wondered if circumstances had changed or if you know where I could obtain this drug in Thailand. Any help would be most appreciated.

All these posts seem pretty dated. I am Narcoleptic and trying to obtain Provigil here in Thailand myself. If anyone has any recent information please post on here.

Many thanks

Rich.

I just went to a psychiatrist today in Chiang Mai and she told me that both adderall and modafinil are not FDA approved in Thailand.

Your best bet is actually to GO TO INDIA and get Modalert (Modafinil/Provigil) where it's available without a prescription and super-cheap. I have narcolepsy and live in Russia - a friend brought back pills in 10x100mg packs that he bought for 81 rupees each. That works out to about $0.15 US per pill, versus $20/200mg in the US for Provigil. I plan to visit India and try to get 500 pills to last me a year. That's a year's supply (based on if I take 200mg/day on weekdays) for a sum that wouldn't get me four pills in the US. Please note that I haven't bought Provigil in the US since before April when their patent expired. You may be able to get generics there for much less.

Do you need a prescription to bring/have this in Thailand though? Customs might be a little wary about bringing in 500 pills.

You can only bring in a 30 day supply, and need to be able to show prescription.

On the 30 day supply but they do not usually count out tablets and generally if a non controlled substance any amount that at a glance looks like it is consistent with personal use for a month or =so will get waived through. 500 tabs would certainly get attention.

In case of ritalin and other controlled substances, also need a doctor's letter.
