No, they are not. Obviously. Though I always did wonder why burgers are considered unhealthy, since they contained minced meat, tomato, onion and did not seem terribly unhealthy. I also mentioned this. You are nitpicking again, using one reply and leaving out the others. Take some time, take a breath, and read all of the posts. Could do with some support and advice here ?
I’ve been in a relationship for just over three years now. We had a year of long-distance, followed by one year living in the UK, and now we've been here for almost a year. She’s 31 and I’m 53. She struggled to adjust to life in the UK, so we moved back here where she feels more at home. She’s affectionate, but if I’m being honest, she lacks thoughtfulness and can be a bit lazy. Fortunately, she’s not obsessed with money, and food is more her thing. We also don’t have to support her family, which helps. One thing that has really been bothering me is that she doesn’t seem capable of considering anyone’s needs or feelings other than her own. I’m always thinking about her well-being—whether she’s happy or if there’s something she needs. I handle most of the household chores, like cooking, and I don’t mind it since I prefer things done a certain way. She’s more than happy to leave it all to me. But whenever we have even a minor disagreement, it escalates into a full-blown argument. She’ll tell me she’s going to leave, pack her things, and then change her mind, not letting me leave either. It's like she gets trapped in her own emotions and can’t back down. Her outbursts can be really intense, and if I try to ignore it, she just escalates until she gets a reaction from me. The reasons I haven’t walked away yet are mainly because I worry about what might happen to her if I leave, and I dread the drama of packing up and trying to get out. It’s frustrating because apart from these episodes, things are actually going really well. We’ve built a decent life together here, and there’s a lot to look forward to. I think some of her behavior may be linked to hormonal changes. She was on some type of contraception before that made her very volatile for a few months. Then she switched to a different pill, and everything was smooth for half a year. Now that she’s stopped taking it, her unpredictable mood swings have returned. After each argument, she always apologizes and promises it won’t happen again, but it’s a cycle I’m not sure she can break. Most of the time, I’m content, but when things get bad, it’s unbearable. If I look at our relationship overall, I feel like I’m giving much more than I’m receiving. My biggest worry is how things will be in the future, especially as I get older or if something happens to me. I’ve put some money into fixing up her place, but I’m still in a position where I could leave if I needed to. Financially, I could live modestly here on my own. So now I’m at a crossroads—should I leave before it gets worse or try to push through and see if things improve? I’d appreciate any helpful advice and please leave out the cheaps shots and trolling. -

If he is not in Thailand, how can he be arrested? If he had been sent to trial, found guilty and THEN skipped the country, it would be down to the Thai police to ask Interpol to issue a red notice, that he should be held and THEN handed over to the Thai police. At this point he is only "alleged" to have committed a crime and he has not had his day in court yet. -

Maybe not - but this is a forum that always seems to devolve into arguments between old silly blokes. I read the first page and thought - this looks interesting - and then went to the last page and it was all two blokes throwing handbags at each other. IMO Thailand is NOT great value for money when it comes to their long term VISA for Retired/Married old Expats. The rest of the things here are mainly fairly good value for money - some not good (cheese, wine, etc) but most is real good value. We spent a lot more back in Aust than we do here - and here we buy more khrapp. Yes the Visas are awful - especially being treated like a parolee and forced to report every 90 days. Other countries nearby offer much better deals (including residency) and for far less than Thailand wants for its 'premium' Visas. And they dont tax your overseas money like it seems like Thailand is going to do soon (hoping not). -

Driving License - Mor Chit
Here is my experience June 2024 I did my renewal TDL on Wednesday of this week at Chatuchak transport office. Enter the building immediately turn right an past those doors press ticket machine select foreigner. You are seen very quickly. Note this visit is just to make the appointment. I was offered various time for the next day and selected 9am the following day. To make appointment you need the following. 1. Thai drivers license (mine was expired 3 moths previous. That is no problem. 2. Certificate of residency 3. Medical certificate. Note there is a clinic that does this specific service at entry of land/transport complex. 150b 4. Basic copies from pp. Photo page. Most recent entry stamp. I also provided reentry permit page. Page with your visa. In my case that was first page of my current pp where the visa info. 5. Passport. Note: You do not need to do the online eLearning course that provides q code. They clip the pages together and a coloured ticket with a stamp. That's it. Simple. So the next day (yesterday) I was back again for the test. You go into same office obtain ticket (same as bank system) Short wait. They give you que number. You then follow counter instructions to where you hand over your papers where they are checked again. Then follow instructions to area where you watch short video. It's purely instructions for the "physical/eye test" Test is very basic. Colour test etc After that back to where instructed to have pic and actual TDL card. 505baht.(Lady would not accept tip) Zero need for an agent. You still need two trips. Where has anyone said everyone else is a narcissist? When you study about them, you can spot them very easily, and they are everywhere, including many in power. That's why they are there. They're sometimes called alpha males. The bane of society. Users, cheaters, exploiters, raised from childhood to hurt, intentionally, others. Everyone has some narcissistic tendencies. Just look at all the selfies people take. Some have a narcissistic disorder, or personality, and they are one huge reason the world is so screwed up. the opposite is en empath. One who cares about others and can put themselves in other's shoes. Always a good thing not to assume.
