Nokia 6133

Featured Replies

Avaliable in Thailand or only in the USA?

I do not know if it is available, but it will work here as it is GSM. :o

The Nokia 6133 is available in the U.S.A. from T-Mobile. It supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 so once unlocked would work here in Thailand with a local SIM, or you could set up roaming with T-Mobile.

I can't tell if the 6133 was branded for APAC, I think not but am not 100% certain. The 6131 seems close and APAC branded

Can you share what you are trying to determine?

What is your country? What country does your brother live in?

I think the 6133 was designed and manufactured exclusively for T-Mobile in the U.S.A. You can find this phone on e-Bay, ~ $160 new, "Buy it Now". I didn't spend a lot of time looking but the 6131 looks like a similar phone? For people in the U.S.A. phones are generally cheaper there on e-Bay, than they are here in Thailand.

The 6131 is not samiliar at all.. (different design).

Country Israel and its costs 15K baht. (! ! !)

:o

I thought to buy it in a new box not second hand.

AFAIK the Nokia 6126, 6131 and 6133 are all the same basic design but some features are added as you move up in model number, and the models are designed for certain markets and exclusivity.

A 6131 should be available here in Thailand although I can't find a price at the traditional retailers.

Nokia Thailand hasn't launched that many clam-shells, preferring to stcik with the mono-blocks. Presumably they understand the local market. I'd like to get a clam-shell and the 6131 looks decent.

Most phone models on e-Bay are available as NIB, New In Box, as well as used or second-hand. Prices I quoted were for NIB, and Buy-it-Now.
