First class insurance - spare car cost not covered?

Featured Replies

Some moron hit me in the back while i was standing still on an intersection

Garage needs about a week to fix my car, surprisingly the insurance says they dont provide or cover a spare car cost during those days...

Is this normal in this country?

Yes, a cover for a spare car is possible but would be an exception.

To get reimbursed you have to claim from the guilty party.

BTW, which insurance says 'no cover'? In general with these cases you claim from the guilty party, if they have insurance that insurance will pay up to limits/coverage in policy, anything extra is out of pocket from guilty party. If your insurance says 'no cover' you will still have to claim from guilty party, but why did you claim from your insurance in the first place?
