A Myanmar ice-cream vendor was found dead on his work sidecar in Pathum Thani’s Klong Luang district on Tuesday morning, police said.

Police said the body of Khiew Sawa, 33, was found sitting in the riding position on a road in front of the Nava Nakhon Industrial Estate in Tambon Klong Nueng, with his face resting on the handles of the motorcycle.

A doctor determined that he died between eight and 12 hours earlier. An asthma inhaler was found on the road near him. No sign of injuries was found.

Pol Lieutenant Phimmawat Jitsanguan said doctors believed the man died of an asthma attack.

Malai Sukhongssa, 57, a security officer at the industrial estate, said security officers were setting up traffic cones in front of the estate and thought something looked wrong with the vendor. They checked and found that he had died.

The body was sent for an autopsy at Thammasat University’s hospital.

I'm an asthmatic . Did the puffer have any ventolin left in it ? You don't normally die of an attack if you have access to ventolin/salbutomol expecially in his case as he obviously had quick access to a nearby hospital.

So the poor guy died sometime during the night................selling ice cream? I am surprised no-one noticed him before that lapse of time.

My thoughts as well - 8 to 12 hours lying clearly visible on his cart alongside a highway.

Many have a kip on their trade motorcycles, he was probably left alone to enjoy his sleep...
