Police rounded up 13 motorcyclists and a car driver and seized 30 motorcycles and a car for allegedly gathering to race on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road near the Lat Phrao intersection early on Saturday.

Police learned of the plan by the youths to gather for road racing so they staked out at the spot and rounded them up.

Assistant National Police chief Pol Maj-General Damrongsak Kittiprapat said the group had planned to race along Vibhavadi Rangsit to the Lat Phrao intersection so police blocked them from both sides.

Several of the motorcyclists managed to flee, leaving behind their motorcycles.

He said the car driver was charged with assisting road racing while the young motorcyclists were charged with reckless driving, ignoring public safety.

Well, I say that about the money given to temples, but they keep some the cash, and also build more unnecessary buildings, so good luck with the biggest mafia doing the right thing

Solution in Rangoon (Yangon), Burma:-

"they are banned under municipal decrees in 33 of the city's townships. “The reason for banning motorcycles is that they can breed motorcycle gangs, robberies, and violations of traffic laws,” the regional minister said in October 2016.Jun 30, 2017.

On a recent visit to the city, it was an absolute pleasure not seeing any motorcycles. You can walk around in relative safety and certainly no motorbikes on pavements (sidewalks) as can be seen in this photo:-
