BANGKOK, 20 July 2019 (NNT) - As part of the latest tourism promotion campaign, the Tourism Authority of Thailand has joined hands with Vogue Thailand to promote key tourism aspects in five regions, aiming towards Thai travelers with high purchasing power to travel more domestically.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) Deputy Governor for Domestic Marketing Noppadon Pakprot revealed the TAT has been promoting domestic travels among high-end Thai travelers with high purchasing power through its Amazing Thailand Premium campaign.

In the latest move, the TAT has joined hands with Serendipity Media Company Limited, the publisher of Vogue Thailand magazine, to launch Lost in Thailand campaign presenting tourism attractions, cultural attractions, and gastronomic attractions in five regions of Thailand which deliver the most refined services and experiences.

The campaign features advertisement films and short video clips starring elite Thai travelers sharing their impressive experiences from travelling from different perspectives.

The TAT and Vogue Thailand expect Lost in Thailand campaign will help raise awareness of the Amazing Thailand Premium campaign, and encourage highly capable Thai travelers to make more domestic trips. Campaign materials and activities can be found on Vogue Thailand’s Facebook page, website, and YouTube channel.

More like Vague Thailand then Vogue Thailand, TAT lost the plot long time ago, this is not the 80' or the 90', people don't care about slogans and roadshows anymore, Thailand has sold itself over and over again using all sorts of tired slogans cliches, overlooking the most important things that will keep people happy coming  and returning to this country would be the ease of having fun, easier visa rules and not being scammed in Thailand...

Will this be in participation with the Thai Taxi Drivers Association?

There always seems to be plenty of tourists who have lost their money in a taxi. It should be a resounding success.

On second thoughts, perhaps the taxi drivers should launch a separate campaign - Found In Thailand Taxis.

Vogue is slumming, nice rags though.  Looks like a change of lipstick.  Sadly the junta outlawed fun not much to offer accept trying to make the same old seem new.

TAT is really lazy.  Many Thai dishes that are not made anymore because they "take too long" to prepare.   They really have no idea how to promote anything and they are still in denial about their best customer base; flash packers.

TAT remains clueless on how to market domestically or to international arrivals.

Often for tourists....lost in Thailand means gone to God.....
