I have no trouble with a bicycle around pattaya and am considering roller blades as well, what do you guys think of them? They have quite small wheels and I am thinking the streets are not well suited but would be happy to hear if others have had an okay experience with them or not.

I think for practical purposes it would not be a good idea considering the state of the streets and that most are cement, not blacktop, and cracked to high hell. 

 

I also think that you would look ridiculous, would probably be made fun of, locals would stare & take pics of you to post of their facebook, and dogs would probably get a piece of your ass anytime they pleased, and it would be easy as hell to rob you considering you can't run or defend yourself.

Remember Glitterman? Anyone rollerblading would attract that sort of attention, and not of the friendly type, IMO.

Anyway, can't use the pavements and doing it on the road would probably lead to an early death.
