Thai Passport

Featured Replies

My Thai wife has changed her last name to mine. Her Thai passport is expired anyways so nothing lost there. I have searched and and cannot find information as to where she can get a new passport. The question is can she do it up country or does she have to go to Bangkok?

It can be renewed upcountry. I'm not sure of all the locations. Ubon took 5 working days to renew my wifes last week.

I found this site with some locations http://www.mfa.go.th/web/473.php

Thanks Farma, Khon Kaen is MUCH closer than Bangkok. We'll be headed down there Monday to try to find the city hall.

My wife got her passport in Khon Kaen, if i remember rightly the office is only a five minute walk from the bus station.
