I'm sure it's insured. Just don't understand the need to impress those around me, I guess it comes from a feeling of inadequacy.

Don’t worry, a taxi driver will soon find it and return it.

If it was really lost, that's worth almost 4 years of salary for an immigration officer and much more for the likes of clerks, security ppl, and cleaners. I reckon 50-50 chance an 'honest' person turns it in.

Sorry, if story is true. But she should get fined for stupidness to travel with jewelry like that! I hope her bf doesn't teplace it. Otherwise he also stupid.

She must have a good insurance policy.

I didn't know you can insure an item for loss while you wear it.

How do we know the glitter is real?

No, they are not. You’re sitting in one of the countries known to be the biggest idiots and most untrustworthy in the region.

I am sticking my neck out here I know, but IMO she is probably from Dubai and maybe she  carries a Singapore passport.

Singapore is part Arab.

Because its in print, it may not necessarily be so.... even more so when quoting clumsily written news articles in Thailand which are never proof read.

Its quite likely that what is really meant is that the flight originated in Singapore and the article therefore mistaken lends us to believe the lady in question is Singaporean.

Need the Report to make insurance claim.

I wonder how much it was insured for?

seriously if you lost something why would you go to police and not lost and found? And how do you think police can help? Besides giving you police report [emoji6]
