Have some aged rattan furniture that apparently would benefit from "boiled linseed oil" being applied. Is it, or the equivalent, available at the likes of Homepro?

Thanks

I've been looking for it here for 7 years now, nada.  You can find normal linseed oil at a few places, music stores, the stationary store just East of UN Irish pub, and probably several other places, but it will take forever to cure, unlike BLO with the additives in it.  You might be able to order it thru Alibaba though.

I thought you were about to polish the old cricket in readiness for the Ashes.

I suppose next best thing to feed your rattan would be teak oil which is available. Linseed is a really messy product, taking forever to dry and then just breaks down in UV light.

Maybe also try beeswax, but rattan isnt the best surface for a wax.

And eBay,

However it appears that my tenants cockatoo has eaten large chunks out of the rettan chair and table,so probably dumping them.

Long story!
