Don't know if it helps, but I saw a couple of Vespas in a shop near the bus station in Sisaket last weekend.

Stay away from lambretta's , spare parts for them are few and far - Vespa parts via India are readily available in Thailand.

There is a vespa club in Buriram, it is ran by a thai guy, he owns Buriram curtains, i will try to find his address, and post it.

Vespas are indeed a little easier to aquire parts for, but Lammys also have a good representation in LOS. One good thing about the Lammys in LOS is that the parts dealers are far more specialised and offer a much better standard of work. Check out lambretta Care (I think they are in BKK, should be on that link somewhere) to see what I mean. Real good work.

Go for a Lammy mate. You cant beat a nice Lammy. Just make sure you buy a Lammy with book. No book should be ok for local trips around your town (though tea money required everytime you are stopped). If you want to go anywhere, go for one with a book. No book aprox 35-40,000. With book, aprox 55-60,000.

Spend just 30,000 more on a real tidy re-spray, badges, mirrors etc and you have a dream Lammy for under 100,000 that woul cost you 300,000 back in England.

On that link, in english there is a classified section. Mostly in Thai, but you can see the bikes and see how much and where.

Can guarantee there will be a scooter club near you. Again, there is a forum for that on the link.

Cheers, SKO
