Some images from the Motor show at BITEC today.

 

Interesting to see that only 4 stands were busy; Nissan, MG, Honda Motorcycles, Kawasaki Motorcycles.  All others were comparatively quiet.

 

Tried using fill flash to reduce the dark shadows from the overhead spotlights.  Fuji XF 18-135

Coolest looking bike was the Moto Guzzi V7 Carbon.

 

Guzzi V85 Adventure Bike was my favourite, but probably would not buy one here.

 

The new Kawasaki 150 naked looks great, but it's small.

 

The Enfield 650 twins are very nice - looks to be a step up in quality.

 

Triumph as wonderful as ever.

 

And an interesting big wheeled 150cc Piaggio ABS scooter from Vietnam.  Nice alternative to the Nmax, but 122k with a show discount to 110k thb

 

 

 

 

 

 

Was it hot there or was it the Royal Enfield girl ?   I never had one like that sitting on my Bullet .

Some constructive remarks,a little more depth of field would have been appreciable;and then I would like to know the exif of each photo to know why some seem to me a little bit blurred .

I understand you tried to shoot without the flash so it's more difficult .

I understand you tried to shoot without the flash so it's more difficult . 

I was using an 18-135 zoom at the longer end to try to throw the backgrounds out of focus, and at the longer focal lengths it drops to f5.6, so shutter times were quite long, and the flash was just a bit of fill, so not enough to keep shutter speeds up.  Most are hand held at around 1/60 second exposure and a focal length of 60mm to 100mm, so even with OIS there can be problems.  Most the girls are experienced enough to hold the poses, so I can often get away with the slower shutter speeds. 

 

I also set auto ISO to max 1,600 to avoid too much noise.
