Women Walks Into A Fish Shop And Asks

Women walks into a Fish Shop and asks " Do you have any Cod, please".

Fishmonger replies "sorry Madam we do not have any Cod today".

She sprouts up and said " but it's my husband's birthday and I wish to give him a treat"

“Sorry Madam” said the Fishmonger "we still don't have any Cod in our shop".

Madam (now really on a high, screaming and shouting) said “now once again Fishmonger, do you have any Cod?”

The Fishmonger very politely asked her the following:-

“Take the “S” out of Skate and what have you got?”

She replied “Kate”

Fishmonger, “Now take the “P” out of Plaice and what have you got ?”

Her reply “Lace”

"Now listen closely" he asked her “ Take the “F” out of Cod and what have you got ?"

The lady quickly replied “There is no “F” in Cod”

Fishmonger – “That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you all this time.”
