No they do not get their salary cut, this practice stopped a decade ago because bars can not get staff. 

 

Quite or not does not affect their salary , but naturally affects their drinks income, so they are forced to go to ibar or 808 or mixx after work to  get a customer paying 2000-3000.

 

then of course regular sponsors sending few thousand here and there ????

 

but if you have been coming for over 20 years then no doubt you already an expert ????

Okay, the truck itself is not in the best shape. But at least its age matches the age of todays gogo "girls".
But before it can start its regular service on Pattayas roads, two modifications have to be made:
- Set the injection timing to "late", so the engine produces plenty of exhaust smoke. Thats a must in Pattaya
- Modify the exhaust: Remove all silencers and replace them with a tube (at least 4" in diameter, better 6") running all the way from the engine to the back of the truck. Thats also a must in Pattaya.

That practice is still happening  and even the sponsors are sending less or dropping them .

 

Not many hang on to a sponsor for too long they are well know for shooting themselves in the foot but you know that being an expert too ????????????

I was going to add 5 dance floors attached via bunggy cord and with wonky bars stool from the 60's and blare Thai Issan Music with extra speakers susspended under, around and on the roof.
