Hal65
I took my nephew to learn skating in that blue open area of the park by the pattaya sign. Problem was hordes of tourists were gawking at him openly, making him uncomfortable as he practiced. Is there a park with less tourists around that could be a better practice area? Ideally it has a big open area for circling and such.
topt
Eastern Indoor stadium (or whatever it is called) park and car park off Chaiapruek 5..........the car park will probably be being used by learner drivers but there is certainly a lot of room. From memory there is a large concrete area in the middle of the park. 1

chakatee
Park at upper side of Mabprachan lake has nice track to practice skating + new road for runners / cyclists / skaters all around the lake. Early morning and evening can be some people, daytime as good as empty.
ehs818
I read this post and was hoping to learn more about any parks within the city of Pattaya. Except for up on Pratumnak Hill, I'm not aware of any 'park' within the city. Very shortsighted on the part of the local goverenment.
soistalker
Parks? There's no money in it. And thai kids dont need a park, they need a carpark where they can ride their bikes and scream. They seem content.
Henryford
They have only left the "park" on Pratamnack Hill because it's probably too difficult to build there. Pattaya must be the only city in the world without any green park areas.
guzzi850m2
Yes it would be great if they could build a park here but as mentioned no money in it so will not happen. Sent from my POCOPHONE F1 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
