Good parks without tourists?

I took my nephew to learn skating in that blue open area of the park by the pattaya sign. Problem was hordes of tourists were gawking at him openly, making him uncomfortable as he practiced.

Is there a park with less tourists around that could be a better practice area? Ideally it has a big open area for circling and such.

Eastern Indoor stadium (or whatever it is called) park and car park off Chaiapruek 5..........the car park will probably be being used by learner drivers but there is certainly a lot of room.

From memory there is a large concrete area in the middle of the park.

I read this post and was hoping to learn more about any parks within the city of Pattaya. Except for up on Pratumnak Hill, I'm not aware of any 'park' within the city. Very shortsighted on the part of the local goverenment.
