Washing Machines

Featured Replies

I was in Numchai a few days ago on the prowl for a new washing machine.

Staff told me that the Electolux brands that they sell are all Thai made & the others were Chinese imports.

They are offering 10 yr guarantees for the motors & 2 years on the electronics.

Has anyone off here had a issues with their washing machine?

Electrolux AFAIK is a sales name rather than a maker and what is made one year may be very different the next.  But that is not to say many products are not good - using a second dishwasher of that brand now and they have survived much better than the made in Germany top name models we had previously (although these may also be made there).  We have been using a washer from Hitachi for more than a decade and very impressed by it - and believe it is made here in Thailand.

That seems correct.

Just took a picture at ours:

We have it only since a few months, so can't comment on durability.

But it works good with a 1 hour program and is very silent.

They have a factory in a Rayong industrial park.

My Electrolux has been OK for over 5 years. They seem to be cheaper for similar products when compared to Samsung. Browse and compare, not only Numchai. Try Homepro, Big CX, and Tesco.
