Sinead O’Connor apologises for saying she ‘never wants to spend time with white people again’

Sinead O’Connor has apologised for a rant in which she said she “never wants to spend time with white people again”.

 

The singer said she was “angry and unwell” when she made the “racist” remark last October.

 

In a string of messages posted to Twitter, the 51-year-old – who found fame in 1990 for her version of “Nothing Compares 2U” – called all non-Muslims “disgusting” and criticised Christian and Jewish theologians.

 

Following an appearance on Irish programme The Late Late Show this weekend, she told her followers that these comments were “not true at the time and are not true now”.

Criticize her only because she is not only criticize as but thinks of herself somehow more involved or superior to as .

White people Have being very aggressive to say the least ,but that's only because the could, When the mongols could they were  not much better or the huns etc.

IMO it is a human condition and not only limited to whites.

When I am being asked why America behaves as such, my reply because we can, when you could you did also, and in the future if you can again I am sure you will not be much better.

She does sound like she is out to lunch. But, having said that, there are alot of insane, extreme, hateful and shameful white people out there. I am a white man, and I cannot say I am particularly proud of where my race is in today's world. Sure, most are good people. But, there are alot that are not. Especially in the US. Who commits most of the mass murders? Who were the craziest people of the 20th century. Sometimes, it is good to be able to look in the mirror, and say we have a long way to go, to become the people we truly want to be. 

 

Granted, saying this to a Muslim Iman, who is a member of the religion with the worst PR problem in today's world, is not going to go over too well in the Western world. I get that. It is definitely what one would refer to as bad optics.

Blacks aren't slaughtering each other all over the world? It's a human problem, neither black nor white or any colour in-between.

Isn't the most gun crime in the US actually black on black? But gun crime is a major problem in the US and transcends all ethnic races. As does genocide. (Remember Rawanda, Turks on Armenians etc etc). African tribes were butchering one another way before the whites poked their noses in. As were Asians. Sadly the problems are for humanity.

 

She is a known sufferer of mental illness who went from extreme catholicism extreme Islam. She seems to be saying what she thinks they want to hear; or what some religious instructor has been forcing down her; or a combination of both. A mentally ill person crying out for help and desperate for help looking for solutions. Given her racist hate speech outbursts and then denials she really need professional help quickly. And not from some radicalized nutter peddling extreme religion.

I thought the red hijab looked a bit too fashionable; but, she gets noticed!

There are plenty of posters on this forum that fit that description.

I've put most of them on ignore, but new incarnations of them keep popping up..

 

Having thought about what she said for a few moments, gotta say I also avoid nearly all contact with white folks.

Maybe shes perfectly sane and I should agree with her sentiments.

More mass murders are committed by crazy white American men, than any other group. Many are off their rockers. Not sure why white people are so defensive. We are a highly defective race!

Seems like nobody understand this! Cruality comes with the power, and also comes with defeat, where poor mans weapon is used, and often reckon as even more babaric. A suicide bomber versus a drone? What is worse than the other?
