Yes, this is correct. To blame Iran shooting from the southern border area of Iraq, the missiles would have to come from a nnw direction not wnw.

The Houthis thanked their allies including Iran and “intelligence cooperation from people inside Saudi Arabia”

The drones, like previous ones, came from INSIDE Saudi.

But the US official denied that they were drones; rather they were missiles.

From the OP.

The U.S. official, who asked not to be named, said on Sunday there were 19 points of impact in the attack on Saudi facilities and that evidence showed the launch area was west-northwest of the targets - the direction of Iraq and Iran - not south from Yemen.

My geography was never that good but west-northwest would be more from the direction of Israel than Iran wouldn't it?

No.

With the strong presence of the American Navy in the Persian Gulf, ten drones flown from Iran would have been detected, their flight path traced and the drones shot down. Therefore the Yanks must have been either asleep, or the drones took a different pass, from Israel, Yemen, or wherever.

Not necessarily.

Ah the good old days! recall them well, days when the "media" was there to keep us informed (we thought) not control us with left wing nonsense!

For a while you could go to google and get an answer to your "research" that was believable, now the result is filtered, for our own good of course!!! with advertisements deemed applicable based on the massive databases they have built on each and every one of us that were stupid enough to trust them!

The finest minds in the world are focused on getting us to "click" - sad :crying:

Ah yes ! The "in bed" media. The sanitized bed sheets of justification !

Now we are in the  era of "simulated" coverage  to save us from  doubt ...no doubt !

There was a time when we believed what American officials told us.

That time was long ago.

We all know why the Americans want to blame. And what a surprise, they blame exactly them.

Obviously I don't know who attacked. It might have been Iran. But maybe not. Who believes serial liars?

Pretending to speak for "we", again.

Alluding to unspecified "known" reasons, again.

Ignoring the fact that "serial liars" would describe the Iranian regime as well, check.
