Hemorrhoid in Thailand?

Featured Replies

what to do if you have external hemorrhoid in Thailand, any good Thai medicine, cream???

Yes, I've found Proctosedyl Ointment to be quite effective.

But, as the old saying goes, 'prevention is better than cure'. Increase intake of dietary fibre, easy on the spicy food and a daily round of kegels exercise works wonders.

Good luck.

It's a simple operation involving the use of a rubber band to tie off the hemorrhoid, so that it withers and dies. The residue and rubber band then drop off.

You can also get Proctosedyl suppositories from the chemist. I haven't tried them (false alarm ????). But a couple of years back got suppositories from the hospial and they worked a treat - 3 days and gone.
