Canada's Trudeau apologies for dressing up in brown face, election chances could suffer

It was a joke.  Definitely in questionable taste.  But just a stupid joke, not a mockery or in foul spirit.

It is important because this is the ideology he preaches. It is bad enough to preach this sort of absurdity, but if your position is now we believe in all these absurd rules except as applied to us you are adding hypocrisy and a system where the elites don't even live by their own professed rules. 

 

Hopefully he wins anyway as a weak Canadian leader is in Trump's best interest plus the "Conservative" candidate is nothing but Trudeau-lite. If Scheer loses to Aladdin that should kill off once and for all the Leftists Wing of the Conservative Party and allow Canadians a true choice in the next election.

He is the best candidate by far, but Canada isn't ready to move forward yet. The Conservative Party Establishment needs to be discredited fully first. For that reason, I am backing Aladdin. Your clip does nothing to show that this is nonsense. The guy spent his whole time trying to rationalize that brown face is not as bad as blackface. Big deal. Trudeau did the blackface thing at least twice. So what a waste of time.

The real issue here is that leftists claim moral superiority. Their whole deal is they are the moral ones and everyone else are either Nazis or dinosaurs. But you know we keep seeing examples of left leaning people in blackface but not people on the right. That's because leftists are race obsessed. Of course there was Meagan Kelly, who got fired because she did not denounce, with appropriate fanfare, the costumes that they wore as children for Halloween.  

Now we all can see Trudeau is a serial blackfacer, obviously this the way he gets his kicks. Now he has to face the music. It is poetic justice of the finest degree. Nobody has blackfaced as much as Trudeau has.

 

Now for some of your other ramblings. Apparently hating on someone for their religious affiliation is part of your MO, and I have seen you do it before as well. Or perhaps you mean Bible thumper as a term of endearment. So I don't know if you can really have an opinion on racism because you are clearly intolerant. I mean what if Andrew Scheer was Hindu or Muslim. Would you find similar epithets appropriate?

The Eskimos name is likely racist, makes no difference to me if it isn't bugging anyone from the indigenous community. But if they changed it that would be fine. Edmonton is socialist by the way, they vote for virtue signallers like Trudeau and the NDP. Not everyone from Edmonton does, but quite a few have sold their souls for government jobs and social programs. Probably the only guys with jobs in Edmonton these days.

I have zero use for liberals/Liberals but I can easily see this guy getting 4 terms. My party was leading at  start of the last campaign but the Liberals ended up winning because of the charisma factor. Tom Mulcair in the end couldn't compete with that.

My  intolerance is of all religions equally.  I don't discriminate amongst them.  It's fables believed as fact to me. You're using political terms as used in the United States and that is not applicable to Canada. I know Alberta was founded by Americans but it is and will remain Canadian. The left in Canada is the domain of the NDP. Liberals were centrists who sit on the fence and issue by issue fall on either side depending on which way the wind is blowing.

It's OK to mock the Christians because you hold them in disdain, you wouldn't call Muslims by any of the offensive terms there are for them, or Hindu's. You might be antisemitic though, that's popular among progressives these days. So you're a hypocrite as well as intolerant.

 

As far as terminology. Canada isn't an island, political philosophy has many influences. Liberal doesn't mean what it used to mean either. It's all a matter of perspective. But the Liberal party hasn't seen the center in half a century. Canada has been marching left since Diefenbaker. Just not fast enough for you.
