Hi All,

With the thanks of this site i can say me and my wife have been back settled in the UK for 10 months now she has several friends and is going to school so all is good!! also a 6 month old son!!

But!! just to finish of the last chapter i am going to do a settlement visa for her 8yr old son to come to England and stay with us.

I am going to complete all the visa forms here and send them direct to the Embassy or application centre. So i would like to confirm all the things i need to have sent to me from Thailand first.

1) He will need a TB certificate

2) His passport.

3) copies of the family book (also translated to english)??

What else will he need sending over here also which items will need translating in English. My wifes sister will take him for the TB Test etc but want to make sure all the info is completed first time before she sends it over, so a complete list of what she will need to send would be much appreciated.

I will have the paperwork sent by DHL or someone like them to make sure nothing goes a miss.

I know how to fill the visa application and house docs and covering letter etc from my last experiance.

Due to the ridddddiculous fee's now i am unable to go to Thailand complete everthing and bring him back with us because if there is any problems i cant afford to go back to sort them out so need to send the application of from here and wait for a yes then fly over and bring him back with us.

They don't understand what these crazy increases have done to us!!!

So can i send the application from England once i have everything with the visa application fee i have read some of the details on the site about extra charges for visa fees from non thai banks but will call them to confirm this before sending. But any advice on the exact fees to send if posting from England would be good as well

Plus any other extra info that may be needed to be completed that has changed in the last 10 months since my last visa application

Will i also need to register him at a school first and add this with the application. Any extra bits to add would be appreciated.

Thanks to all

Jay

There's no reason why you can't post the visa applicastion form directly to the application centre from the UK, but you will need to include three bank drafts all drawn in Thai baht, and to get these from a UK bank might be a costly affair.

Scouse.
