We saw a wonderful production tonight. It's running until Sunday. The language is a strong but nothing too bad for a 14 year old.

The Dodo Bird Returns To The Stage!

October 10 to 13 at KAD Studio Theater. The play will feature veteran stage actor, director and producer Stephan Turner. Rounding out the cast of four are Chiang Mai Theatricts inductees Peter Yribia, Joseph Coffey and Leonard Garbutt.

“This intense Drama explores what it means to live on the fringe of society, to be a man who failed to achieve the American dream and ceased to live by the cultures basic standards. The Dodo Bird represents those we often choose not to see: the guy with glazed eyes talking to himself walking down the street, carrying a bottle in a brown paper bag, maybe asking for change. The story of how this particular human being reached this point of desperation and isolation is revealed one evening in a bar across from the foundry, where the Dodo Bird is sober, washed and waiting for his estranged daughter.”

Hope they've all got work permits.

You couldn't even take the time to Google "The Gate Theater Chiang Mai".  If you had you would have found that:

"The Gate Theater Group is a nonprofit social organization operating as a membership-based club which is legally recognized in Thailand as a Group of People or Ordinary Partnership and whose mission is as follows:
etc, etc, http://www.gate-theater.com/who-we-are.html  "

Considering that they've been around for over a decade, they've got themselves properly set up.  If you have questions, you could join The Gate Theater and take your questions to their leadership.

Now I hope you can go and enjoy the play without worrying about getting caught up in a Labor Dept bust!
