Check out the Friese-Greene Club near Phrom Phong BTS, it's a small private members club dedicated to people who are interested in everything film-making, from students to industry pro's, amateurs and hobbyists.
I have met some very interesting people there whom I have ended up working with on various projects. The decor is very old-school film industry and charming. There is even a small cinema on the top floor for private screenings.
