A brain hemorrhage takes more than a week to recover from and may require surgery.  Also, the knee injury is not specified so how can the extent of the stay be determined?

It sure looked pretty "reckless" to me.

Lame excuse he should have said brake fail instead. That one works all the time.

Can you point me to an occasion when the brake failure excuse worked. Would you not agree that it is just a claim, not a serious attempt to avoid responsibility.

I hope the victims get due compensation, not just for the injuries now but for any future treatments.

Also trauma that may have suffered. As for the idiot driver who was "stressed out" at the time give him one year in an army camp to relieve his stress on daily workouts!
