I didn't get such a message.

Could it be that you are using a debit card without chip functionality? I remember reading somewhere that these are supposed to stop working, but can't remember if this was December this year.

Just go to a Krungsri branch and ask them, you might have to get a new debit card with chip.

I replaced my Bangkok Bank card yesterday for free .Do it after Jan 1st and they will charge 300b for a new card . My old card was a chipped card , the new card requires a six digit pin number .

I did the same yesterday, did not except the Chinese provider ?,

but opted for Mastercard,would have prefered VISA,as already

have Mastercard,but Bangkok Bank dont do them now.
