A friend needs to have Win10 installed on his laptop, simple job.
Any decent and honourable IT people he can go to in BKK?

Is there someone at Pantip etc. worthy?

Thanks

Since it is so simple, why aren't yourself or you friend able to do so??

Just do it yourselves. Much better to do so, as you are in control of the set up.

Just create the media yourselves, once you obtain a USB Flash drive of at least an 8GB capacity;

  1. Visit the Microsoft Media Creation Tool websitehttps://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
  2. Click Download Tool Now.
  3. Save the Application.
  4. Plug your USB Flash Drive into the PC where you saved the application.
  5. Run the Application.
  6. Accept the EULA
  7. Select Create installation media for another PC and click Next.
  8. Choose the correct settings for your version of Windows 10
    • Language (Country)
    • Windows 10
    • 64-bit (x64)
  9. Click Next.
  10. Select USB Flash Drive and click Next.
  11. Select the Flash Drive and click Next.

Allow the application to complete. You will be prompted when it is finished and has successfully created the bootable drive.

Thanks but my friend is not IT savvy

You don't need to be IT savvy. Just the ability to follow simple instruction. Such as the guide above. It is not recommended to allow a third party to install for you.

Unless you pay full price for a Windows licence, they will invariably utilise a KMS crack in order to activate it.

Wholly unnecessary.

I have never met even a single person who was unable to install Windows 10 for themselves and I've dealt with very many people doing so.

Well some people can't do this kind of thing.

Thanks

I doubt it, unless they are somehow handicapped. I guess some people might just not want to try.

What's so bad about asking a professional to do the job?

It's like cooking. In theory everybody should be able to do it...

If users install it themselves and maybe in a week they have a (maybe unrelated) problem, they will ask themselves: What did I do wrong?

If a professional does it for them then they can be sure it works correctly. That gives confidence and peace of mind.

maybe post the make and model of your friends computer here to see if he needs to upgrade memory or if it can be done at all. some people have very old laptops.

What is "bad" is what I stated. Did you not read it or do I have to repeat it? Professional? Stop pulling my leg.

They can attempt an install. If they have an issue that they cannot overcome, they still have the option to take it to a 'professional'.

Which part of the OPs question do you not understand?

He didn't ask how to do it.

He asked for advice about someone who can do it for him.

Thanks for your help Samsensan and Onemorefarrang

There are some very unpleasant people on TV sometimes, their argumentative and aggressive posts ruin the friendly and helpful atmosphere.

I'll pass on the suggestion about the IT guy for my friend, and ignore the annoying person here.

Where in Fortune can we find your guy? Looks like someone I'd like to know, for the future.

thanks
