I hope he runs. He has very good ideas and is not as far left as some current dems. He would get a lot of swing voters.

Hardest part for him would be getting thebdem nomination.

Yes a real billionaire with real ideas.

One of which is unshackle wall street and the big banks. No thanks.

Warren and Sanders need to be given a gold watch each and pointed to the exit. They can never win a general election. Biden will get confused and wander away at some point.

Bloomberg's got business savvy and political savvy. If Dems can disabuse themselves of loony left fantasies and nominate him they'll have the WH in 2020.

If having the white house is the only concern then you would be right, but it is not.

We have had this attitude for too long and look where it has gotten as . I think it is time to vote our conscience and let the chips fall where they may.

We are destroying the country so that we might save it. Not a viable strategy IMO

I like idea of universal health care: covers everyone and if follow model of Canada, much cheaper overall. But US is not ready for that yet. Free tuition might sound good, but why should those who didn't go to college have to pay for those who do?

I like Amy, but she is not the darling of the vocal minority that seems to be steering Demos off a cliff.

Christopher Hitchens wrote a good essay years ago "I fought the law in Bloomberg's New York", funny, witty, spot on and had lovely term for MB: micromeglomaniac. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2004/02/hitchens200402

Oh yea you are soooo right the Obama disaster lol I rember what he started with and what he ended his term with he and his TEAM rescued our country from an economic disaster we had respect and good will on the world stage we were evolving towards a more egalitarian society now we have division and hate under trump we have become a laughingstock and pariah on the world stage your Donald is the disaster mike Bloomberg will kick trumps rear end if given the chance just don’t know if he will be the nominee

Yes, because the rich and poor wealth gap's massive increase during the Obama reign of terror was actually a sign of a more egalitarian society.

So you prefer certain industries be in shackles. Wow, that's quite revealing.

Well that's kind of a trivial concern but his intention might be to be one term president. Sort of a transition out of the madness into more normality and unity, and then pass the baton.

Has there ever been a president who only wanted one term? Not to my knowledge.

Not Trivial IMO, I am 62, in great shape for my age,  and I can feel it, I can imagine what will be like at 72 never mind 79.

I guess both Him Sanders and Biden could say the same thing but it is very difficult to govern starting lame duck. Any of them would need a sure fire winner VP really involved and ready to jump in at a moments notice. Having said that any of them would have my vote should they be the nominee.

As I've said from the beginning, the 2019 part of the primary is strictly entertainment value.  Next November it could come down to Romney vs Holder.  DT, even if not removed by the Dems' impeachment effort, could quite easily be locked away and kept on thorazine by his own party.  Could there be a silent effort to support this impeachment by the upper strata of the GOP, so that they can clean their house and make the Dems the bad guys?  If DT is removed could Bloomberg run as a Republican?

From what I can see of any of the contenders, from either party, Bloomberg and Holder (both New Yorkers) are the only ones who can go blow-for-blow in the bs battles DT thrives on.  Eric is gonna have to dial up his "bad self" persona.

For certain reasons, which I will not express here, I don't see Bloomberg carrying a nationwide election.  I didn't see anyone in the last Dem debate who could either.

Hold on to Holder 2020!

Donny is on tape telling us about his pussy grabbing exploits

This is a lie. He did not comment on what he had done, but rather what he could do. In any event, I don’t doubt he’s grabbed his share of pussies, but uninvited?

Science is on no side. It offers evidence. Many conservatives don't like the idea of fact based thinking so they are hostile to science.

Sadly the cult leader trump verbally assaults people but was silent  aboutright-wing violence at the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville. The conservatives take their cue from the head racist. Hmm..I guess you have not heard about his racist past? Stop watching fox news..he mocks and belittles based on racial stereotypes. Oh and one of the first public mentions of the head pussy grabber was when he was sued for racial discrimination.

Yep..head racist.

More Koolaid?

So the head pussy grabber does not sound stately to you but that is OK because someone  insulted him? He is supposed to be the president of the US and be presidential.

I would be ashamed if my child acted like the current president of the USA. His personal behavior is a disgrace. If you would condone that kind of behavior from your own child I would question your parenting skills and judgment..but of course you would not allow that from your own child..Would you?

So rather than attacking the left that is attempting to destroy his life and undermine his authority he should be banging interns and or ruining my medical insurance? No thanks.

I wish he spoke more eloquently but I am more concerned about the leftward slide of the county.

Why is there never a call for the left to tone down the rhetoric?

More Koolaid?

More koolaid? Maybe your reference is to the Jim Jones cult - The cult of trump is more likely to drink the koolaid.

But exactly does that mean? If you are going to respond at least try and be clear about your meaning.

Please explain.

Trump on the recording says he  - can do anything   to women - just start kissing them ... I don't even wait and grab 'em by the pussy.  He is an admitted sexual predator.

He has multiple sexual misconduct allegations which he has paid off to silence. He paid off a porn star..he is a disgrace to the office of the president.
