Does anybody know of any decent maths tutors who could help out a 12 year old Thai boy who is struggling with this subject at school? His English is limited so the tutor would need to be able to speak reasonably good Thai, or be a Thai. Looking for an hour or 2 a week.

Where is his home? 1 or 2 hours a week is not enough, he will forget everything he has learnt in the lesson before.

Is he going to a templeschool or to a private school? If templeschool he has holidays now and ample of time.

Cheers from Nathon,

Claude

He lives in Maenam and attends St Josephs, so yes, he has lots of time at the moment. He came down from Petchabun a year ago & has done pretty well catching up with the local kids in most subjects. Maths is confusing for him though, he can't quite grasp some of the concepts, like fractions for example. He needs a bit of a push.

Yesterday I talked to a Thai, he is an evening teacher for children from St. Joseph School, mathematics and thai.

His name is Khun Eddie, he is running a nursery too. Fon: 0815350204 or 077 236288. Say hello from Khun Claude from Soi Marine Police (Tamruat Nam).

Cheers, Claude

Thanks Claude, sorry I didn't get back sooner, have been away. I will look into this after Songkran & will certainly pass on your regards. Much appreciated!!
