Fireworks 2019 Schedule

Featured Replies

Why is it so difficult to find the times of the Firework displays Its two days to go and I still cant find any information. The only website (official) that I found has Firefox telling me it wont connect as the site is unsafe. I'm not interested in the music or other entertainment just the start time of  the first display on Saturday would help.

It is usually about 8pm but that might well include the 'show' which is usually a load of self important people waffling on, keeping you waiting. I just looked at an old video on my phone for the ones in May and I got 8.10pm. If you are heading for the beach you may choose to get settled earlier.

Each night will have 4 shows.  The shows last maybe 10 minutes on the first night and 15 minutes on the second.  There was a 15 minute break between 1 and 2, and also 3 and 4.   A one hour break between 2 and 3.

Start time at the previous one varied on the two nights, and weather also played a part.  Scheduled kick off was 8pm.

There were lengthy delays on the second night due to weather but they still finished, with the final display being a little after midnight.   Plan to arrive about 7.30pm and you should see everything.

below is a link to scheduled times, mostly in Thai, but you should be able to figure it out.   The 15 minute slots are for fireworks.

That will not be relevant this year, scheduling them in May last time was moronic, and actually the first time for me I tried Saturday, which was a bad decision. The weather drove most people off the beach, strong winds first then heavy rain and Pattaya was one big traffic jam and also flooded. I heard the fireworks start up again late from my hotel and was rather surprised.

I have hopes of a good evening tonight, reminiscent of past ones on the beach on a warm calm evening.  Anybody driving, well don't forget, the place is difficult when it isn't a special event! New shopping Malls ain't made it easier.

Went tonight and what a great event. We sat on deckchairs on the beach for 50 Baht each and chugged large Leos at 100 Baht each. Food stalls were nearby as were mobile toilets. This mornings strong winds had died down and six displays were breathtaking. Thousands were there: rich and poor, young and old, tourists and residents. There was a one hour break between the 1st 3 displays and the last 3 whilst a concert played out with another one after the firework show.

If you missed it tonight you can catch it tomorrow. A not to miss Pattaya event.
