The central bank has opened free access to its rich database of economic data to the public.

 

Bank of Thailand Governor Veerathai Santiprabhob on Wednesday (November 4) chaired the launch of Thailand’s Integrated Database for Economics (TiDE).

 

The database will contain a wealth of economic information, or about 25,000 series, he said.

 

Public could access the information free of charge via the website  https://tide.pier.or.th. The information has been made available by the central bank's research arm, known as Puey Ungphakorn Institute for Economic Research. The service starts on Wednesday.
