If he is really so keen on cleaning up corruption, why would he not want to explain his wealth? And that ot Prawit.

Seems like that would be a good start and would improve his somewhat deficient credibility. Even Thais are starting to see through this guys, and you know you're in trouble when you can't even fool a Thai.

Prayut said all parties should join forces to stamp out corruption, which has dented the country's development for a long time.

If they had any heart in the matter, it should be easy, they only need to clean up the 1% who control 66% of the countries wealth. But then again, who bites the hand that feeds? Grubs!

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has called for an end to the patronage system and urged the public to come forward with information on corruption.

To which the knowing responded with uncontrollable laughter.   Stop the beer monopoly they cried as they picked themselves off the floor.

Will we be asked to be on the lookout for corruption when flying in on Thai airways.  Like they mention human trafficking.

Coz we all looking out for them now aren't we.

Being surrounded by so many expensive watches  he should  never be late for a meeting

In all fairness i understand what is being  attempted  but all this  does is push a 500 baht bribe into  a 5000 baht bribe  as tier risk goes up with this measure

Let sleeping dogs sleep

Also stop making too many laws

The more laws means more opportunity  for corruption

I know some peoples ( thais and forang) that have been hit hard by new laws and it is not helping fight  corruption
