thanks man, i can see the lost bookmarks under 'other bookmarks' when i use ctrl + shift + b,

but it doesnt work when i use the toolbar in the browser

Not quite sure what you are missing  :mellow:

 

Presumably you're using Edge browser that comes with Win 10.

 

I stopped using it myself, but all Bookmarks were easily available clicking the star icon:-

its on firefox i got all the bookmarks,

luckily i can now access them again even if its a bit of hassle, they are under 'other bookmarks'

Yeah, if this is an issue, show all bookmarks (CTRL+SHFT+B) and in the window just drag the bookmark(s) of interest to wherever you like, e. g., bookmarks toolbar. You can select multiple bookmarks via CTRL+Left click.
