Looking for Mai Rim Hotel @ 1000THB per night

Featured Replies

Looking for a nice 'homey' guest house or hotel for around 1000thb per night (for 2 persons) in or near the Mai Rim area. Will be up there in about 3 weeks with rental car. Any suggestions...?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. 1000 THB for a nice family-run 'homestay' - 'pension' is what I have in mind.

It's not a family-run homestay, but the Mae Rim Lagoon hotel has a great location and is not expensive.

Thanks Thailand.

I am aware of the reviews on Agoda and Trip Advisor, however was hoping for some feedback from some on-the-ground locals.

Am waiting for wife to book air tickets.

So bad.
In low season (April to September) I would have recommended the Flora Hill Ressort, 15 km away, where you will be served a delicious meal on your terrace and its fantastic view of the mountains, less than 1000.
But in high season prices go up to 2000.

This looks rather like the view from the Gazebo overlook at the top of the Samoeng Loop, as well as looking like the same Gazebo.

Is there a place in Mae Rim that offers this view, too? It's true that the view is wonderful!

Used to stay there years back it was nice but last time I looked it was around 1,900 baht inc breakfast which is quite a bit above the OP budget and obviously its high season pricing
