They are trying to stop the annual retards cull on the roads. And one of the things that could possibly cut down on drunk drivers and these money grabbing morons are taxing it

Just introduced property taxes..

Thailand is going to turn into a <deleted> show after that. The effect will be huge as it will touch everyone and everything. Prices will go up and spending power/value will go down.

I suggest you check on the government's proposals regarding property tax. The last time I read it only a very small % of Thai & non-Thai properties will incur tax due to the relatively high starting values.

They are fast running out of things to tax to bring in more money for the trough. May I suggest a window tax the same as was introduced in England in 1696......

And chimney tax.

The Excise Department has announced that it will tax non-alcoholic beers next year in an effort to prevent new drinkers

It's not to prevent drinking It's about money,,,, more more more money.

Tax on sanitary napkins and tampons. Now alcohol tax on non-alcoholic beer. Next comes the breathing tax. The tax collectors' greed for money knows no limits. Where's robin hood?
