Banggood Ordering IT from Thailand

Featured Replies

I live in Thailand and I want to order a laptop (12000 Baht) from China via Banggood.

Can somebody tell me if rhey can send this laptop to a PO Box in Ubon and how I'll have to deal with Thai import duties.

I have asked Banggood customer service via their FB messenger but received a non-informative reply.

I never ordered anything for more than maybe 2000B from Banggood. But I ordered many small items and I guess I received by now more than 50 deliveries from them.

At least 90% was without any trouble and when something was wrong they replaced it or refunded the money without fuss.

It seems import duty is a question of luck in Thailand and in part it also depends on how a package is delivered. If it's delivered with an expensive and fast shipping company then it seems to be more likely that you have to pay. Standard deliveries like registered Chinese mail seems to be often delivered without paying anything extra. If you are not in a hurry then that is what I would do. Or check locally - gut I guess you did that already.

I deal and have done a regular basis with ;https://www.advice.co.th/ and found them to be the Cheapest of all the online IT dealers....Just sayin!

Ordering a laptop like this sounds a bit risky. Is the saving so much better than say a COD order with Lazada?

I'd rather buy from lazada or a store but what I want is not available here.

15.6" screen with IPS FHD 1920-1080 at a good price.

I did order the THB11k Binai laptop I wanted from Banggood on 10JAN.

Paid with PayPal. To be sent to my POB in Ubon.

Immediately advised it was shipped.

Never arrived.

After 60 days I complained and was told the package had been "refused" and returned  Not by me that's sure.

Anyway they rrefunded my money to my PayPal account immediately when I asked for it.

Looks like a good company but what happened with my missed shipment.?
