Thais media reported that netizens were "Laughing Out Loud" after a monk in the south posted that he got his meal from one of the Buddhist faithful via Food Panda.

In a post monk Itthayawat at the Wat Nikhom Prateep temple in Trang said this was the way "to make merit in the digital age".

It was no longer necessary to go and hand over food donations in person - just ring up the app.

This is going to end badly, very badly - only exercise Monks get is walking to collect food

Most of those around our way get carried around in a samlor, only exercise they get is the short walk from the bike to the front gate.
