April 15,  2021   -   9:00 Last night in

Phrae: Massive storm, very strong wind,

mini typhoon, very heavy rain...

Phrae  PM  2.5  25ug/m3 ~ AQI 78

Chiang Mai       31 µg/m³ ~ AQI 91

Chiang Rai       24 µg/m³ ~ AQI 76

MaeHongSon  55 µg/m³ ~ AQI 149

Maybe in some parts of Phrae .

There was a little rain and some distant thunder where I'm at, but 24 degr in the morning in April is something I haven't seen in 10 years , as far as I remember.

Mr. Yom,

 

Finally (it took some time) I understand the logic in your presentations i.e. it's all about blue or red , yellow etc. Figures are less important.

AQI 42 = 10 µg/m3 (PM2.5)      AQI 78 = 25 µg/m3 (PM2.5)      AQI 137 = 50 µg/m3 (PM2.5)

 

WHO guideline stipulates that PM2.5 not exceed 10 μg/m3 (AQI 42) annual mean,

or 25 μg/m3 (AQI 78) 24-hour mean.

AQI 42 = 10 µg/m3 (PM2.5)    AQI 78 = 25 µg/m3 (PM2.5)    AQI 137 = 50 µg/m3 (PM2.5)

 

 

 

The burning ban is lifted, some farmers start to burn their fields overnight!

AQI 349 = 299 µg/m3 (PM2.5) !!!!!
(Eg. Mae Chan between Chiang Rai and Mae Sai)
