Popular Post mercman24 Posted January 29, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted January 29, 2020 the yamaha packed up yesterday, scooted to a bike shop, it was the fuel pump, left it there, came back 2 hour later job done, *oh that will be 4300 baht, * i looked online a pump is from 260, to 540 baht genuine yamaha ? the clown said *pump cost 2400* no it fikin doesnt, i show him my phone, aand ask for a receipt, NO HAVE, no choice but to pay up, this shop is off second road, at the lights on the road heading down to the temple, on SUK road, shop is opp a 7/11, guy is a total prik 1 1 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I boycott places that charge falang price. One now charges me a lower thai price so i go back regularly. worgeordie Posted February 2, 2020 Share Posted February 2, 2020 The other side of the coin, i had the valve snap off while i was trying to replace it and fix a new bum gun on it,tried to get it out myself,would not budge, so my wife phoned a friend that had some plumbing work done recently,and she phone the man up, he was there in half an hour,actually there were 3 of them. They could not extract the broken piece either, so had to drill and knock a hole in the wall so they could get at the pipe,they did that,put new connectors for the toilet and bum gun,when it came to the cost i was shocked all he wanted was 300 THB, that's labour and parts.so pleased to find an honest plumber, just need to find similar electrician.not all Thais are out to gouge you. regards worgeordie 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
