Holidaymakers don't travel to the EU.  The EU is not a country or a place.

You have to recognise the difference. Generally people in the UK love European countries and their people, cultures etc., but loathe the institution of the EU.

Let US decide what we accept the E.U. for...,  and if not like it you are not forced to come , in any way whatever we are or YOU think we are , we stick to our points and confront U.K. united …. Or is it that what give you all a headache …. we said from beginning what could be possible. just accept or ...walk

That goes for leavers and remaniers. Ultimately it came down to how people felt, and the majority felt they didn't like a foreign institution deciding what's best for the UK.

Then the E.U. has nothing for you , enjoy your freedom and independence …. nothing is a force ...however it looks U.K. try on to squeeze their wishes out it.

Make your own paradise I would say

Gove just playing to the gallery. The UK has known for a long while why they can't expect a deal with the EU like the Canadian, Japanese or Korean deals.

To quote Chris Morris from the BBC:

The UK is a major economy right on the EU doorstep - therefore a bigger potential competitor than a country like Canada.

The EU wants a common set of rules on things like workers' rights, the environmental regulations that businesses have to follow, and, in particular, state aid (or support, including subsidies) for business.

It says it will refuse to give British companies tariff-free access to its single market if those companies also have the ability to undercut their rivals based in the EU.

Straightforward common sense from the EU. if you want the benefits of the club, play by the club rules. If you don't, then it will be the WTO with all its paperwork and delays.

Johnson, Gove etc will have total responsibility for damaging UK financial interests for decades to come.

have just watched the 2 videos, and (surprise coming) listened to the narrative

to me, it does not sound as Gove is playing to the gallery,

sounds more like a well prepared input to the talks starting next week

guess he still hopes for some kind of deal resulting from the coming efforts

which might happen if the involved parties could take it a bit easy and refrain

from throwing insults around, such behaviour completely destroys the climate for good faith negotiations

insults and laughs do not make a good climate for making deals,

not in kindergartens and not among professional politicians

Thankfully it is not you negotiating on behalf of the EU. The EU negotiators will compromise in the end, IMO. As they did with the WA.

And if they don't, c'est la vie!

O.K. fair enough ….why then all that rubbish's E.U. is not this or that , if you don't like it don't join it but also don't try to squeeze your wishes out of it who are not possible , as you see by now finally it is not possible to agree

All this bravado and a cavalier attitude is not going to help the 1.2 million on mainland europe when they lose their jobs in he event of a no-deal Brexit.

Almost certain that this is the beginning of the UK requesting transition extension in June.

If the intention is to walk away in June the speech would not have been made.

The government will state in June good progress has been made to justify the extension.

That did not came up in my mind ….. but an interesting thought into Boris twisting around  politics behavior , as his "voting cattle" swallows anyhow what he murmels and stumbles ….????

The UK government have already promised to protect supply chains and no checks between NI and the mainland.

The car manufacturers have also stated that they expect the UK to reach an agreement with the EU.

All evidence points towards a close agreement or extension.

"A study by Leuven University in Belgium has predicted that the 1.2 million jobs will be lost across Europe in the case of a hard-Brexit. Unsurprisingly, the United Kingdom is expected to be the country that will suffer the most with over 500,000 jobs set to be lost."

Why,like yourself, get so irritated by the UK departure. It has nothing to do with you or the followers of your particular ilk.

The ones suffering will be the EU especially the millions of who rely on fish.      Already Spainsh farmers up in armrs over olives ,farm produce just for starters.

messy, very messy, riots throughout EU  ,none in UK

Deluded.

The EU is far better placed to absorb Brexit than the UK is.

The riots will be in the UK.

Probably the only action taken by EU citizens will be to blockade the channel ports. That rationing and food shortages will certainly give us that 1940's feel you guys desperately want.

The only problem with "the great Breakaway " I have ….is that you wish to make it a " big free Takeaway with"….. no membership , no free access to the club and his premises Haha
