Does anyone know Traverstin and where I can find it?

Those are used for a wide range of application. Mostly for flooring tiles and wall decorations.

I want to use it as a natural stone for baking in the (pizza)oven, hence only need one piece a 40x40cm.  (1.3'x1.3')

The term is Travertine and its a porous material, very porous.

You put that in your pizza oven and all that olive oil and steam will seep into it resulting in....lets just say.....I hope you are good at jigsaws.

For your oven base, natural stone, polished concrete, ceramic tiles, red bricks would be better options

Yes I am good with jigsaws but it take days ????

Have read that Travertine could be used for baking bread, it won't stick as much as on concrete tiles.

It was also writen that the stone will get dirty, but still useable.

Two options: one of the stones as you describe which need to be portable, or a pizzastone sold for BBQ's which are small sized.

I have thought about using simple ceramic tiles, easy to clean. But have no ideas about the fumes when heating those.

Anyone has experience(d)?
