Clarkson is a witty but sometimes ascerbic commentator on cars and many other things, (vide The World According to Clarkson). His commentary does tend to cut through the cr-p, but I've no doubt it will offend, and the Malaysians are prone to taking offence, especially from Brits. I recall the "Buy British Last" campaign of some years ago, which was the response to some other criticism, (long since forgotten).
