All US intelligence agencies have identified Russian government (not private individuals) use of misinformation / influencing efforts via mainstream social media platforms in an endeavour to support trump. trump is of course in the process of removing government officials who have called out this matter, even going as far as circumventing Congress and putting 'Yes men' in place with zero intelligence experience. Yet you & others still support this appalling individual.

Very simple, if I may say so......or at least "simplistic"

Russia efforts to help Trump win re-election are not in conflict with promoting Sanders. In fact, if you wanted to help Trump, probably one of the best ways is to help Sanders win the Democratic nomination. Because for whatever merits Sanders may have, he's simply not going to be a presidential choice for the majority of Americans.  Sanders is nominated. Trump's re-elected. Russia job for Trump done!

Agreed - it's really hard to see how Sanders can win over swing states.  Friends and relatives in the two I'm from (who may have voted Obama and then Trump) say they'd never vote for Sanders.  They may just stay home.

Editing to add:  whatever opposition research there is on Sanders hasn't been released yet, although the Kremlin has certainly already seen it.

Exactly, the conspiracy theory is the last resort argument after all others have failed. ????

Are you attempting to refute an argument  make a point, or just inject typical sarcasm?  My points have been made with clarity. The intel apparatus, the power, the consensus, represented by 20 years of imbedded thought process opposes Trump, AND Sanders. Go ahead shout hoorah for Bloomberg! Better yet, shout yay for Bernie and the DNC trying to destroy him!

Well it looks to me like the Democrats know full well who will win in November. As I said since 2016, it is time to stop the crushing negativity and run on some positive messages of how they can change Americans lives for the better. But no, the negativity deepened constantly up until their humiliation at the senate with the botched overthrow of Trump. So now they are in a real pickle. This is as good an excuse for losing as any I suppose. Just a bit boring listening to Russia, Russia, Russia for another 4 years.

So block the truth-the death of America.  I don’t think everyone is convinced Trump will win.  He is a complete loser conspiracy theorist anyway-if you believe him, I suppose you believe all the communists and authoritarians-a pathetic weak minded child

Someone with only 44 posts jumps in with a bunch of GOP talking points in defense of Russia, but explains she "isn't taking sides".  Yeah, right.

The poster made an eloquent assessment of observations. Not talking points at all, just a point of view.

Well I will take a crack at that one. Lets start with Trump being hardest on them. Bit difficult for anyone else to do it as he is running the show and I recall he was loathe to place the sanctions, but wasn't given much option in it. Secondly, why would they want Trump in again? It seems blatantly obvious to those who aren't blind. It is way way better for Russia to have an irrational and egotistical fool at the helm of the worlds supposed greatest power than someone who can act logically and in the genuine interests of the country. I think that answers your question. You might have trouble understanding it, but the Russians don't!

No, i'd say that is not a credible answer at all.

Well those that dont support trump state facts. Those that support trump talk about anything but the subject and like conspiracies.

It does make people laugh at the gymnastics.

Your observation is false and better applies to a side that doesn't really know what or who they are for, what policies they advocate, do you support the DNC sabotaging Sanders? Do you support Socialist Bernie? Do you support Bloomberg? No apparent policy positions at all but buying his way to debate platform?

Let me help, elites representing a worldview best explained by Clinton, Bush II , Obama, once called the two headed coin, is attempting to ensure no outsiders to this consensus gain control of power in the USA, while they oppose Trump, they likewise oppose Bernie. Which is not to say that Trump or Sanders are aligned, except in opposition to this consensus. Think; Jeb Bush, Paul Ryan, Hillary Clinton, Obama...they all talk different but put forward the same <deleted> in a different envelope.

Some people don't realize that anyone who opposes the consensus must be opposed. Msnbc, Cnn, etc are their mouthpieces. FOX had lost its neo-conservative center during later Obama years, but now they got Paul Ryan on the board and now they are re-shaping themselves again to Neocon central again.

People here look at policy outcomes sometimes but dont follow the whole story. People accuse Trump as big bully strongman. So strong, right. But fighting the battle of his life against a bureaucracy that rose to claim their power and have been trying to remove him.

Assisted by the professors out there who constantly post MSNBC links that quote absolute nobodies reporting from spoonfed anon intel sources. They are on the payroll. This is a first for me.

Yeah, a conspiracy, but not a theory.

???????????? you got the story down congratulations!  Are you looking for an ambassadorship?
