Ecstasy! More than 100,000 pills seized in packages sent from Europe to Thailand in last 5 months

Thai drug enforcement has reported that parcels sent from Europe containing the recreational drug "Ya E" or Ecstasy had been intercepted by the AITF or airport taskforce. 

 

In the latest bust at the end of February three boxes of goods from Germany contained 26,340 pills. 

 

There have been three arrests of Thais and foreigners. No precise details were given of these by INN.

In the last five months 100,257 ecstasy tablets have been seized all emanating from Europe and believed to have been produced in the Netherlands. 

 

The parcels came in deliveries from Germany, the Netherlands, France and Portugal (all two each) and one each from Belgium and Slovakia.

I went into the Disco "Illusion" on Bang La Road for the first time ever last Saturday night. I've been coming here for 40 years, btw, so I was a bit out of the age group, but there were some folks older than me there, anyway, I'd say that place was hopping with people doing Ecstasy. I've yet to try it. I've tried just about everything else (more than once, lol, but never had a good connection to cop X.) I would have loved to have had some of those M+M's for that visit! Oh well. I feel 30 until I look in the mirror. Later folks!

Good for you.  It's nice to hear of someone else who still enjoys life.  I'm 52 and live my life like I'm much younger.  

 

Better quality why did they not wait to see their final destination?

I've seen quite a few explicit cannabis seller on craigslist Thailand. Never ordered from them, I'm too scared it could be a setup.

Why would you import stuff that's freely available here?  This is just a story invented to show officers are working on the right side of the law instead of the usual.

Disclaimer: I'm not into drugs and quite ignorant. But I would have thought those shipments would go from TH to Europe instead.

 

Take the Meth epidemic. Tons of this horrible drug flooding SE Asia, originating in Burman. But E is a different matter? Can't they produce that in Myanmar? Can't they sel it for higher prices in Europe?

Trouble being is if the cops show up and give you an M+M's test, and all the food coloring makes you pee purple - bad luck for you farang!
